The Curtis'
Well this is all new to me, but I'll give it a shot. Here goes blogging.....
Coltyn Robert is now almost 6 months old (22nd). He is a good baby and is a smiley, laughing, bundle of joy. He just got his first tooth and we are hoping the second one will quit with the torment and come through soon.
Coltyn will be getting a sibling in September. Yes, that is correct, we hoping for a sister. Wink. This is the last one for us, unless we adopt.
Spencer is 9 1/2, tall and smart as they come. He's a great student and likes science. He enjoys playing "tycoon" games on the computer and driving games on the PS2. He is a great help to us with Coltyn when he's around and he is a boy who has a lot of love to share and has a big heart. He gets a little frustrated with the divorce and seperate homes, and is trying to learn to tell his feelings more. He's a work in progress as are we all.
Megan is 7 1/2 and also tall. She is my "tom girl". She loves to dress girly, make-up, nails jewelry, ect... BUT she is ruff and tumble get dirty, wrestle and frolick like a boy. If I could get her to sit like a lady in a dress or skirt we would be doing good. lol She is a great student also, and likes to read like Spencer and she is a great "mother" to her younger siblings. She is a sweet girl and is learning to deal with lifes frustrations one day at a time.
Jared is 3 1/2+ (4 in May), he is ALL BOY. He likes anything round and ball like, trucks, cars, kicking, swords and so forth. He likes to wrestle and be ruff in play. He is also quite the cuddly boy and a lover. He has issues with discipline as the two house thing is hard on kids, but he is learning. He is becoming more compliant and less defiant. We are working on getting him to be nicer to all around him. He loves his little brother and is quite cute to watch him entertain him. He will be our future football player or wrestling champ.
Geary is still working in Wyoming at the Four Seasons Resort in Teton Village. He sacrafices a lot of time to let us live close to my kids. He drives two hours each way 5 days a week. It's a good job and the money he makes couldn't be made locally, so we appreciate his efforts.
Me, well I'm looking for work again. I was laid off in Dec. I'm waiting to here from the nursing board to see if my license can be renewed. Hopefully so and that will open more doors for employment. Life is good in general and I keep stepping forward to reach our goals and leave the past as far behind as I can. Not an easy task, as it haunts on a daily basis. I was just made a visiting teacher, and I'm excited as I haven't had a calling for sooooo many years. It's nice to be involved again.
